A Little Lamp Switcheroo

I posted the other day about the lovely lamp I found on clearance at Target. Well I decided the color of the lamp would work out better in the bedroom than in the office as I originally planned. The bedroom originally had this lamp that I found at Old Time Pottery. You can see it on the right.

Now it has this Target beauty hanging out there. The lamp shade has  a nice sparkle to it and the color matches well with the burlap looking curtains.

So now that brown Old Time Pottery lamp has taken up residence on my desk in the office. The oil rubbed bronze color base matches well with the chocolate colored border around the IKEA rug we added. (Photos of that will be in the final office reveal next week.) Here's a peek of it in the office next to my spruced up corkboards and new shelves.

The room is getting closer and closer to being done. If I could only make up my mind on curtains it would almost be finished. Hopefully next Tuesday I will have the final reveal of our brighter and more cheerful home office space.
