This is a quick and easy recipe I make every once in awhile when I need to get dinner on the table fast and with little fuss. It's probably something kids would love too.
The ingredient list is short:
-1 lb ground beef
-1/3 cup barbeque sauce
-1 tube refrigerated pizza crust
-1 small chopped onion or 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
-1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
1. Brown and drain the ground beef. Reduce heaat and add the onion and barbeque sauce. Mix well.
3. Roll up dough along long end and tuck seam under. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes until crust is lightly browned. (It's not much to look at it, but it's really good I promise!)
4. Serve and enjoy!
I am going to make this! It looks so good and sounds YUMMY!
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah! So yummy, and so easy! And you can use other fillings, too, to change it up. Like sliced kielbasa sausage, pizza sauce, green peppers, onions, and Mozzarella. Or Canadian bacon, pineapple, cheese, and pizza sauce. So many possibilities, and so easy to throw together! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited! We are trying this tonight! I printed it out and showed the boyfriend and he was totally down to try it. Fridays are usually free night but this looks so yummy and easy!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know we made this last week and LOVED IT! We are going to have it again this weekend and we are going to try it a couple different ways, like a TACO seasoning way and an italian style way!! SUCH A GREAT and EASY Recipe! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it turned out good! I always try to keep a pizza crust in the fridge for nights when I want a super easy dinner. I have made it with italian cheeses, onion, green pepper, and tomato sauce before for more of a calzone style too.
