New Bathroom Vanity Knobs

We completed a makeover of our hall bath over six months ago. Part of the makeover including painting the boring and orangey oak vanity to a sleek, glossy brown finish. I loved how the deep brown looked with the oil-rubbed bronze fixtures and how it contrasted against the white vanity top.

However, while at Hobby Lobby the other day, I was admiring their amazing selection of drawer pulls and knobs. They were having a sale so all the knobs were 50% off. I spied these beautiful white knobs and had to grab a couple since they were only $1.50 each. I thought the white would really pop against the dark brown and I was right. A couple minutes of drilling and on they went.

They make the perfect finishing touch. I'm hoping Hobby Lobby has another sale soon, because there were so many gorgeous knobs that I might have to see where else I can add or replace some knobs.

  1. Beautiful bathroom! And good to know about the knobs at HL - they sound way cheaper (and probably way cuter too) than the Home Depot ones.

  3. very cute! if you run out of cabinets before you run out of knobs, maybe you could use them as hooks?

  6. Very good blog!!!!
Making the best use of the available space is no mean a task. It certainly requires a lot of thinking. One of the most under-utilized areas is the bathroom, especially the Bathroom Vanity Tops and the space below it.

  9. I like the color combination of the bathroom. The curtain is nice too. Also, I noticed the bathroom tiles. It matches the other colors used to brighten the place. That's the magic of a quality tile. Tampa, Florida is known for quality construction supplies, I must say. So, its possible that we'll be having a huge bathroom renovation soon. Thanks for the nice photos!

  10. Bathroom vanity tops define the look of the bathroom, and can be used to dramatic effect with a little planning. Available in a variety of styles, materials, and price ranges, the bathroom vanity top is a versatile furnishing that any homeowner can use to upgrade the appearance of their bathroom.

  11. Okay so I know this is like, a YEAR later- but where did you get your shower curtain? I LOVE the bathroom BTW. My daughters want their BR done in blue & brown but I need a lighter curtain than the brown cuz it's such a dark room anyway. I love the way it turned out. Really bright & pretty. Even if I AM a little late ;)

  12. I bought the shower curtain at Bed, Bath, and Beyond several years ago. I'm not sure if they still carry it or not, but I love it.
